The Kimberly 5000 is firm inside and soft on top. It has euro style pillow top with an added layer of soft foam in the top for added comfort. 

The Kimberly 5000 is made with a Bonnell coil system which creates a long-lasting durable sleeping surface. Foam encased offers a firm seating edge and a larger sleeping surface.  The added layers of plush foam add comfort on the top of the mattress for a perfect combination of support and comfort. Clipped borders of this coil strengthen the edge to eliminate the roll-off feeling. An added layer of comfort foam gives this mattress a luxury feel.  A knit fabric is quilted to the Knife edge cover for surface longevity
