This Scamp Mattress Shell (Non Quilted) allows you to turn your existing dinette cushions into a comfortable mattress.

It is specifically made for Scamp brand campers. Here is how it works: You place your existing dinette cushions into the shell, then add a comfort layer over top, and then zip it up-presto! You have a real mattress made from top-of-the-line mattress components! The depth of this shell is available at 6” or 7” so that you can add either a 2” piece of foam over your 4” cushions or a 3” piece. If you purchase the foam from us, the foam will be cut to proper radius curve. We sell the shell and foam comfort inserts separately, because we know you might have your own foam topper you would want to use. In that case, you would just buy the shell only.

Getting The Correct Height

Unzip your top zipper and measure the thickness of the foam that is inside that top separate compartment. This will be your top height.
Unzip your bottom zipper where your rails and air chambers lay. Measure the total height of the components inside that compartment. This will be your bottom height.
