A cooler-sleeping gel memory foam comfort layer cut for King Split Head Flex Top Sleep Number beds, where the head of the mattress splits into two independent sections so each side can articulate on a FlexFit adjustable base. This is the same breathable 4 lb gel memory foam we offer for standard sizes — configured for the split-head FlexTop King.

It's a medium firmness and far more breathable than most memory foams, designed to sleep cooler. In our experience manufacturing mattresses over the years, we haven't found a more durable memory foam. Unlike most memory foams sold today, it has very little off-gassing and is CertiPUR-US tested. At 4 lb density it is much denser and more durable than the average 2–3 lb memory foam used in name-brand mattresses, and it's built to last for years.
