How do I know if I have a FlexTop bed?
A FlexTop is a Queen, King or California King mattress where the top third is split down the middle at the head, so each sleeper can raise their upper body on an adjustable base. The foot end stays joined as one piece. If your mattress is one solid piece from head to foot, use our standard parts instead.
Can I use regular King parts on a FlexTop King?
Not for the cover or comfort foam, which have to be cut for the split at the head. Foam rails are the same length and width as standard King rails; the only difference on a FlexTop set is that the head rail is cut so each side can raise on its own.
Which FlexTop cover do I need?
If your cover has a quilted top, choose the FlexTop Euro Top Shell. If it has a smooth, stretchy knit top with no quilting, choose the FlexTop Smooth Top Shell. Measure the height of everything inside the cover, and check whether your air hoses come out at the head or on the sides.
Which foam feels most like the original?
FlexTop Medium Regular Foam is the closest to the original Sleep Number feel. Firm and Soft Regular change the firmness, gel memory foam contours and sleeps cooler, and natural latex (medium, 29 ILD) is buoyant and durable.
How long do FlexTop parts take to ship?
