How it works
Start by selecting your mattress size, then build your rebuild: foam side rails plus one or more comfort layers. For each comfort layer, choose the feel — Regular foam (Soft, Medium, or Firm), cooler-sleeping Gel Memory Foam, or premium Latex — and the height that fits your comfort budget. Mix and match to recreate or improve your bed's original feel.
Why a complete rebuild
Over time, the foam in a Sleep Number bed compresses and loses support. Replacing the rails and comfort layers together restores the full feel of the bed for a fraction of the cost of a new smart bed. Every layer ships loose (un-glued) so you can adjust, swap, or re-firm down the road — your bed stays serviceable.
